New Year’s Resolutions, VI

41. Learn to drive a stick shift - I’m 26 years old and have never even tried. I think it’s about time to do this. I have friends who are willing to teach me, but they’re also friends who will laugh so hard with me as we learn that we’ll crash into something. I need a serious teacher.

42. Work on 3rd tattoo design - I have an idea of what I want, but like the other two, I want them self-designed and to mean something. Once I design it, I’ll sit on it for a year and then maybe in 2010 (after graduation perhaps?) I’ll get my MPH tattooed on me somewhere.

43. Try out a new musical artist - got any recommendations? I like all sorts of music!

44. Visit a museum - I don’t remember the last museum I went to; it’s time to go.

45. Meet a blog friend in person (I don’t think I’ll be going to BlogHer so this will be an outside event!) - I don’t quite know how this (and #46) are going to happen. I think it’ll come naturally. Hopefully.

46. Meet a second blog friend in person - see above.

47. Continue growing my hair out - I’m getting a trim and a color tomorrow but am really doing okay with how long it’s getting. It’s not even getting stringy. My hair is insane sometimes.

48. Try Ethiopian food - this was on last year’s list and didn’t get done. How hard could it be to eat?

49. Find a South Carolina “home” church - this is important to me. I have to find a church where I’m comfortable and can express my faith in my own way. I’m nervous about it because of the area, but have faith (ha!) that I’ll find the right place!

50. Meet someone famous (I have never met a celebrity. I should start hunting them down.) - How do I plan for this? Seriously!?!
